Ok so this is my very fist blog. I'm not the greatest writer, but I believe my skills are good enough anyone reading to understanding me.
Being my first blog, I am hesitant to open up and feel a bit uneasy in general sharing my thoughts on the internet, but I think it will be fun and provide a place for me to clear my head like the other billion bloggers or so!
I guess I'll just start out talking about my day....
I went golfing near the Indianapolis area in an alumni golf outing for the university I attend. I'm not an avid golfer, but I do love the game and the chance to sit back relax and maybe even throw back a cold one!
Today I was paired in a team of four. The tournament was what you call a "Scramble", or "Best Ball". Each golfer on the team hits a ball, and you simply play the person's ball who hit it the best. Unfortunately we only played my ball about 25% of the time!
Anyways it was a great time. After 18 holes we met the group of about 70 other alumni who attended the outing and had a bite to eat. It was a nice little set up of burgers, chicken and chips.
A few prizes were raffled off, including a signed Larry Bird Poster, Andrew Luck Colts football, and a Peyton Manning Broncos Helmet (Traitor!).
Being a broke college student, it was no surprise that I did not bid on any of them, but they were still cool to see.
Overall it was a very good day. I'm looking forward to finishing up my last day of work tomorrow, and heading back to finish my senior year of college! Looking back on it now I never thought this day would come, but it's here, creeping up like a snake in the grass!
